Blarney Stone Farms is an equitation centre located a few miles west of Edmonton, Alberta. The facility has been in operation since 1977 and focuses on training riders and horses to participate competitively in the equitation, hunter and show jumping disciplines.
The centre includes a large indoor arena with a viewing room, stabling for 35 horses, a tack room, an outdoor show ring and multiple single and multiple turnout corrals. Generous staffing allows for proper management of the individual horses in our care including feeding programs, attention to sanitation and daily turnouts.
The centre is owned and operated by Cheryl Anderson, who has trained riders and horses for over 50 years. Presently, the daily management of the stable is under the direction of Brittney Toner who is also the head trainer.
Blarney Stone Farms also has a lesson barn catering to the desires of adults and children who wish to learn to ride on a less structured bases than those in the formal program. The centre owns some 22 very reliable horses to accommodate this part of the operation.
